Whenever possible, Ema and I will go on photo shoots together. We never know what to expect - so we’ll either try to experience something new (that’s mostly me) - or we gravitate toward things that always interest us (that’s mostly Ema).
At a photo shoot, we’ll deliberately work independently of each other and start at opposite ends of the event. It’s a good way to find out how much our eyes have in common. We are always amazed at how often we’ll unknowingly take photos of the same thing from the same point of view. But what is really special is when we take photos of the same thing and our perspectives are so different that we can’t believe it’s the same image.
